Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and creative Web Designer Intern with experience in WordPress to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work on real-life projects and collaborate with experienced professionals.
This 6-month internship will help you develop your web design skills, build user-friendly websites, and learn how to work effectively in a team.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, and brand-consistent websites and landing pages.
- Test and improve the design of clients’ websites.
- Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
- Working with WordPress, Woocommerce and Pre-made templates.
- Incorporating functionalities and features into websites with the use of plugins.
- Translate Figma designs into fully functional WordPress websites.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, relevant diploma or equivalent experience in web design
- Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS.
- Great understanding of WordPress, Woocommerce & popular WordPress Plugins
- Proficiency in WordPress builders like WP Page Bakery, Elementor.
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
- Great visual design skills.
- Creative and open to new ideas.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent research skills
